My previous experience with massage was questionable at best, with various therapists rushing through a so-so massage without communicating with me or acknowledging my feedback. In the event that I could no longer stand the pain inflicting my body, I would succumb to a massage. Yet, I didn’t enjoy it, and couldn’t understand why anyone would be quick to reschedule. Then I met Ben…
With Ben Lockett, my entire concept of massage has changed. From the moment I walked in the door for my first appointment, Ben was professional and detailed; asking a variety of health-related questions and making sure I was comfortable before beginning work on me. I was then, and am still, completely impressed with how thorough and professional “The Body Buddha” is. Ben’s current skill set isn’t set at (and more importantly, Ben doesn’t limit himself to) one modality of massage. Ben will ask about tender areas he finds throughout the body, will slow down to get rid of a trigger point, and/or will do deep tissue work where needed, all the while praying through the process. For Ben, massage is about more than making people temporarily feel better. It’s a matter of healing people: spirit, mind, and body.
For many people, a job something they do for a paycheck, as limited to the number of hours they’re on the clock. For Ben, massage therapy is a lifestyle. No matter where he is or who he’s with, Ben has the utmost concern for people, whether they’re a current client or not. Ben doesn’t approach his business solely for the purpose of making money, but rather with a deep and true desire to heal others. From what I’ve seen, Ben’s greatest joy in life is in the gift he’s been given to heal others. Little interests Ben more than talking about and/or working through medical problems, and nothing makes his eyes light up more than dreaming about his future goals with his massage business – how he can most effectively affect the greatest number of people.
Having changed my paradigm about the profession, I would highly recommend Ben Lockett as a massage therapist.

The purpose of this letter is to let you know how pleased I have been with Ben Lockett's performance as a massage therapist. He contacted me in the summer of 2009 wondering if I would be willing to assist him as he completed his training to become a certified massage therapist. I agreed to allow him to practice his techniques on me as part of his training.
Ben took the time to inform me what each of the techniques were he was going to use on me and what it would do to help me and what areas they would affect. He also asked me how I was feeling and if I had any concerns or problem areas before and after each session. As time went on, I felt more relaxed, less tense and overall my body just felt good.
Ben truly has a passion for his work and displays the utmost professionalism. I feel that the he would be a true asset to your orginization.
Sincerely,
